Dear Fans, Friends and Family,
We’d like to present to you our newest single: DERIVA. Over the past few months we have poured a lot of heart and effort into recording this song. What you hear now is not just a culmination of happenings in our personal lives but also events that have affected the entire world.
On a personal level we often find ourselves wondering where we are going and where we will end up. That journey usually takes us far from paths and people we have known. Leaving a feeling of drifting away from the familiar.
Although written just prior to the massive earthquake and tsunami in Japan, and the flooding of the central part of the U.S., the lyrics and motif are based around the idea of Drifting away and out of control. DERIVA is a latin based term for just that.
This song will always convey our thoughts and prayers to the victims of these tragedies. As artists we create and remember where we draw inspiration from but we also open ourselves to the energy of the world around us. It is our hope that this song strikes a chord for the listener as much as does for us as musicians.
A VERY special thanks to the following:
