Testing Tomorrow The Band

Long Beach Invasion Music Fest @ The Cellar

May 20 2010

What up ya’ll on this glorious Thursday? Got an update for you about the June 5th show. We’ll be collaborating with Chromatic Entertainment to bring you an awesome day of music in Long Beach. We’ll be playing the headliner at 12 midnight along with other awesome hand picked bands.

Chromatic Entertainment is a new company formed by bands for bands. To help assist in the promotional process Chromatic has set up an awesome website and offers various tools to help bands promote better and faster – including online ticket sales, actively searching and hand picking bands for their shows, free live video and interviews and a custom profile on their website. Ticket sales go directly to the bands. So if you by a ticket you’re helping us out – not some random club or club owner.

This is the first time they are putting on a show and we would love your support in making this something great.

You can by tickets on line for the event by clicking the LINK bellow:

Make sure when you get a ticket, you select Testing Tomorrow from the drop down menu!

Night Riders

May 16 2010

As we ride down through the streets of Los Angeles the city lights glow like small torches. Every cluster of light makes up a small piece of the larger whole. It’s like a massive bonfire in the night. There are actual people out there in this impersonal place. Hopes and dreams live down in the valleys of LA and that flickering light in the night is a constant reminder.

Most of us are not from here. Most of us come to Los Angeles in search of something bigger than ourselves. We follow a dream, we put in our efforts and we add our flames to that fire. We are here because people before us had enough courage to do the same and pave the way. We didn’t start the fire. We just keep it alive. And even if we don’t make it, we’ll burn bright and long into the night so the next generation can see the path.

As we near closer to the release of our new EP – we couldn’t be more proud of the people involved and the life long friends we have made in the process. We are glad and honored to walk in the shoes of the denizens that came before. And we will be more proud of the ones that will follow. It’s been an honor and a pleasure.

A special thanks again to James Law for tagging along with his camera.

April showers bring… TT shows.

Apr 08 2010

What up ya’ll? We’re back playing a couple shows this month. We’ll be playing our EP The Push cover to cover. We don’t do this sort of thing really… in fact we never have. You’re in for a treat. Join us 4/22 and 4/24 – You can check out all the details in the up coming shows section. Right now if you buy a ticket from us the cost is only $5 – or be forced by gun point to pay $10 at the door. Well… don’t take my word for it… just buy a damn ticket.

Additionally, the show on 4/24 is conventionally held to be the starting date of the Armenian Genocide. This show will be held in order to commemorate the victims of the genocide and their families. So come join us on this special night and see a rare live performance of The Push.

Check out The Push on Itunes or in our music section. (Click here for Itunes)

Drum Tracking “The Pull”

Mar 29 2010

So here we are again… laying down some hot beats for our new EP “The Pull”. What can I say? It was an awesome day and we banged out 5 bangin’ tracks! We took a little video of Grom giving a tour of his kit. Props to Andrew for the amazing video work. The sound drops out briefly at 55 seconds and at some point the camera is artfully titled sideways. What do we look like film makers? Sorry we make music… check it out anyways you might learn something other than the fact that drum cymbals are made of gold and shinny.

In case you didn’t know friends, Grom is endorsed by Paiste Drum Cymbals. You can check out his Paiste bio here.

And while we are on the subject – a little fun fact about Grom is he formally from a band that originally hails from Norway called ‘Ancient’. Having been heavily entrenched in the Black Metal scene and seen it’s far share of success internationally, Ancient was considered one of the leading forerunners in the European Black Metal scene. If you want to read up on an interesting time in rock music and part of its vast and deep history read more about ‘Ancient’ here.

Now with out futher adu:

TT Photo Shoot

Mar 07 2010

We had a photo shoot last week down in good ‘ole San Diego. Our good friend and long time confidant James Law (http://jameslawphotography.com) was kind enough to lend a hand and get us some great shots. Our other good buddy Ryan Loco (http://www.ryanloco.com) was there as well and got some sweet footage. You can view the youtube video here – or at the end of this post.

Stayed tuned….
